Triple-platinum rockers to headline Coleman Coliseum show

When students complained last year about the lack of currently popular, higher profile artists playing the Homecoming concert, University Programs listened, and the organization's new leadership vowed to do better with this year's concert.

In an effort to satisfy students hoping to see a big name on campus in October, UP has secured the triple-platinum rock band DAUGHTRY to play a paid-admission Homecoming concert in Coleman Coliseum Friday, Oct. 5. It will be the first paid-admission Homecoming concert since Alan Jackson played in Coleman in 1998.
