Idols South Africa 4 Top 8 Results

Colin Moss opened the results show stating: they rocked, you rocked but someones head is about to roll With much suspense, ducking and stage diving Yolanda found out she was a goner

But first the DJs were allowed to air their opinions, as usual they were varied, but four out of six negative votes went Yolandas way!

Jody anticipated she was in the judges bottom three and Colin confirmed her worst fears, he asked the same of Yolanda, and again confirmed her worst nightmare, Carla no stranger to the judges bottom three took to the stage as well

Colin let the clock tick on and revealed who was in the combined 'danger zone': the judges bottom three as well as the publics least favourites; and with that, Munro was called to Colin's side.

As it turned out, the public disagreed with the judges votes, and Jody was saved by the viewers, told she was safe and sent from the stage.

That left Munro, Carla and Yolanda holding out for a hero... Munro quickly escaped the hot seat and hurriedly sat down with his mates

Carla, a little shaken was left to say goodbye to her friend and fellow contestant, Yolanda, who sang for the last time on the Idols stage!

Yes, in the end the viewers votes were not enough to save Yolanda and it was time for her last performance. When Colin put her on the spot, Yolanda declined to name a potential winner out of the remaining seven. Theyre all good, she said.

Its getting more and more difficult for the contestants to stay focused as they say goodbye to dear friends week after week, but the remaining seven have to prepare for this Friday, 2 November, when the musical theme will be Best Of South Africa. Not only will the contestants sing classic South African hits, but theyll also take viewers to some of their favourite spots in South Africa.
