Jaydee Bixby to perform on Canadian Idol Tuesday night
got this from ctv.ca
Jaydee Bixby will return to the Canadian Idol stage to perform live during tonight's Top 9 Results Show at 8 pm ET.
The Season 5 runner-up has just released his debut album "Cowboys & Cadillacs" and the first single "Old Fashioned Girl" is already tearing up the country airwaves.
Jaydee recorded the album in Vancouver, BC, but the album is definitely true to his Alberta roots. The title track off the album talks about the whirlwind ride he's enjoyed since Canadian Idol's season finale last fall.
"That's talking about before Idol, going onto Idol, after Idol, going to Vancouver and Toronto and stuff," Bixby told Idol.ctv.ca in a previous interview. "I was always a small town boy and it was just talking about a simple ease of living in the country and stuff. I had a horse when I was young and was just trying to put the saddle on and stuff and then you're working in the city but the country's still your home and life hasn't just been the same without 'Cowboys and Cadillacs.'"
No stranger to performing, Jaydee has been performing live with his family's band since he's been 11 years old.
