Mark Day eliminated from Canadian Idol
After being lauded by the judges for his strong vocals, stage presence and grown-up performance of "Bleeding Love" the night before, Mark Day from Portugal Cove-St. Philips, Nfld., was the next to be eliminated from Canadian Idol.
Day received the fewest amount of votes for his rendition of the Leona Lewis song as the Idols performed "UK Hits" during the Top 7 Performance Show.
He was joined in the Bottom 3 by Theo Tams from Lethbridge, Alta., and Earl Stevenson from Lloydminster, Alta.
Host Ben Mulroney first asked Jake Gold whether these three singers fully understand who they are as performers.
"I would say that Earl and Theo definitely do and I think Mark is still finding himself," said Jake.
Ben asked Sass Jordan what advice she has for the two Idols who will be still standing.
