Pinoy Idol Season 2?
After A disastrous season last year. I dont think its wise to have season 2 this year.
Here are the reasons.
1. Only rich finalists win in this show. Do I need to elaborate more? Hello? Gretchen Espina?
2. They dont have Landline voting (the ONLY idol show). Although its still unsure if this will work.
3. Filipinos do not vote for the best instead they vote who's more goodlooking.
unless Filipinos will vote in terms of talent. This show will NEVER EVER WORK.
So whats next?
As much as I want to have Pinoy Idol 3. I prefer Pinoy Pop Superstar instead. Cos at least people like me wouldnt mind if they put butterflies in every corner of the stage. Meaning they can do anything they like.
or if possible instead of Pinoy Idol, why not have X Factor Philippines instead?
here are the advantages of this show.
1. The judges can save the better finalist
2. Everybody can join. Meaning ages 15 and above can audition. There's also a group category.
3. New format and Better stage

well I still prefer to have Pinoy Idol, because I heard that Asian Idol will become yearly. By the last quarter of 2009 Gretchen Espina will represent the philippines this year being the winner of Pinoy Idol, if GMA will replace idol as x factor, where will GMA determine the philippine representative of asian idol, unless there will be asia x factor, but I dont think x factor will click that fast to asian viewers, because most asians prefer idol for now
