Australian Idol 5 Top 100

Last Night was like a mixed reaction. first few scenes were really disappointing but after a lot of wacked performances. Im glad almost all my bets made it.

Anyways back to the recap.
Since there were 140 finalists they need to put 40 people to the chopping block. They said those called will perform tomorrow morning to convince the judges that they deserve to stay.

7:00am Day 1: Eliminations.
All the Finalists went to the Seymour Theatre Center. and then the 40 finalists were called.
First up is Group 1. Jessica-Jade Bruce cracked and Linden Furnell forgot the lyrics. NEXT!!! Group 2. Mario Nowfal, the judges didnt like it. Group 3: Atilio Vilegas: looks like the judges didnt like it either. next up Group 4: Naval Trumpeter Carl Riseley, who won Marsya over the Syney Auditions, hmmm looks okay to me. So that was it for the bottom 40. now the results. Group 1. Eveybody goes home. Group 2. Only Anthony Nuku got in. WOW next Group 3. two girls got in. and Group 4. the people called went home. Coool Carl made it. More than 30 people went home. interesting...

11:00am Day 1: Eliminations.
Now lets start the show. Group 1. First up Judges favorite, Daniel Mifsud, looks like Marsya's enjoying it. next is Marnie Cooper. man that was bad. next Sarah Lloyde, twas okay, then Sally Van Der Zwart, WOW!!! and lastly Dave Andrews, hmm.. results. 6 got thru to the next round. YEY Sally got in!!!

Now the next groups were upsetting. Andrew McDougall forgot the lyrics and Cleo Howman cracked. Next is Jessica, WOW hate it!! Next stop Mark Da Costa, ROCK ON!! next Morgan Hosking. a bit screechy. then Jacob Butler, loved it. there were some bad performances after that. until Casey Marangon Elliot Sang. Now the judges were fighting about her song choice and performance. interesting.. anyways lets go back to our recap. next to performa is Shamara Lea Hassett, actually it wasnt that bad, dont know why the judges didnt give her another chance. It looks like we're going to see her again next year. NICE ONE!!! now there were a lot of people celebrating.
anyways back to the auditions. Next stop is Ben McKenzie, WOW love it love it LOOOOVEEE IT!! Hope he makes it to the top 24. Next is Cheray Doughty, WOW another amazing performance, next is Husny Thalib, twas just okay, and Marty Simpson, interesting... well that ends Day 1.

Next stop Groups. There's a TWIST. It wont be like last year. There will still be groups of 4 but with 2 girls and 2 guys mixed. now they are given 3 songs to chose from. 1. End of the Road(Boys II Men) , 2. Straight Lines (Silver Chair) and lastly One (Abba). They need to choose 1 to perform the next day. anyways. there were some groups who are struggling on what song to pick coz most of the songs were really not that famous and a bit boring as they say. It looks like Husny's Group are having problems on the groups song choice. same thing with Jasmine Anderson's Group. hmmm... lets see. 3:00 am Jasmine's Group still awake, still practising their melody. It looks like Jasmine's still upset on the song choice. Even if Mark and the group talk to her about it. Now it looks like She decided to back out. too bad. now its Audition Time again. All of the Finalists are now on the Audition Theater except for Jasmine who decided she's quitting. The moment Mark knew it He went back to the hotel to talk to her. After a long discussion looks like he convinced her to continue her audition. Good job Mark!!! Jessica's BACK!!! YAHOO!!!. unfortunately their group performance was a mess. It looks like Theyre all going home. NOT!!! the judges gave them another chance. COOOL!!!
back to the Group Auditions. 2pm Day 2: Eliminations. The judges are now pissed bcoz of some of the group performances. Some forgot the lyrics some sounded really bad. and most of the Groups who chose the Silver Chair song are having the same problem. Now after a long bad audition two of the judges decided to walkout during Andrew McDougall's Group Performance.

Anyways, back to the auditions. next stop Tarisai Vushe's Group. WOW awesome performance by her. Im glad they made it thru to the next round. next stop is Carl Riseley's Group. Quite Disappointing really. Next is Rosie Ribbons Group. AWESOME PERFORMANCE!!! All of them were so Good. Best of the Night and Whole Group Auditions. They all have positive feedbacks from all the judges. End of Day 2 Audition. 64 got through to the next round. YEHEYYY!!!
Tonight will be the moment of truth. Top 24 will be revealed. Dont forget to watch it!!
