Australian Idol's Mark Holden has osteoporosis

AUSTRALIAN Idol judge Mark Holden has revealed he has the bones of a 70-year-old man, and has suffered depression after being diagnosed with osteoporosis.

Today, on World Osteoporosis Day, Holden was joined by Olympic pole vaulter Tatiana Grigorieva in urging people to be aware of the crippling disease and fight it early.

Holden said it was only after several episodes of broken bones that he was diagnosed with the disease.
