Going gaga over Goudie

The province's favourite 'Canadian Idol' is coming to Labrador West.

Rex Goudie may not have won the top prize in the third season of Canadian Idol, but he's certain to make a splash in the hearts of young music fans in Labrador when he takes to the stage Nov. 9.

Christie Meadus, program coordinator of the Lab. City Recreation Department, hopes he'll perform to a sold-out crowd at the Labrador City Arena.

"I'm hoping tickets will be sold out next week," Ms. Meadus explained. "They go on sale Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. at the Labrador City Arena until 4 p.m. every Monday till Friday until they sell out."
