X-Factor Leon has singing in his genes
X-FACTOR finalist Leon Jackson has revealed that his grandfather was an opera singer in Scotland during the 1940s.
The 18-year-old, who lives with his mum in Livingston, has made it to the last 12 of the TV competition which was not on air this Saturday due to coverage of the Rugby World Cup.

Leon's grandad William Johnston was also a performer who sang in Glasgow theatres in an amateur operatic group. The young singer also revealed that his dad Philip died of flu aged just 39 in 2005 after suffering organ failure.
