Who Can Predict the Next ``American Idol''?

New "Idol Elimination" Game from Nestle Confections Gives
Consumers a Chance to Win a $1 Million Grand Prize for Correctly
Predicting the 2008 "American Idol" Results
GLENDALE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--Do you have what it takes to guess the next "American Idol"?
NESTLE(R) CRUNCH(R) CRISP, BABY RUTH(R), BUTTERFINGER(R), NESTLE
CRUNCH(R), and 100 GRAND(R) candy bars are challenging consumers to do
just that. Just in time for the seventh season premiere of "American
Idol," Nestle's new "Idol Elimination" on-pack promotion features a $1
million grand prize for the person who successfully identifies who
goes, who stays and who ultimately becomes the next "American Idol."

Consumers can look for specially marked packages of NESTLE(R)
CRUNCH(R) CRISP, BABY RUTH(R), BUTTERFINGER(R), NESTLE CRUNCH(R) and
100 GRAND(R) candy for a special game code to play the "Idol
Elimination" bracket game online at the "American Idol" Web site,
www.americanidol.com. Game play begins on Thursday, February 14, 2008,
once the "Final 24" contestants on "American Idol" are announced.
Then, between February 14, 2008 and February 19, 2008, consumers can
sign on, enter their game code and create a game bracket to guess who
will be eliminated each week from the top 24 down to the final
contestant. If consumers guess the elimination order correctly, they
could win the $1 million grand prize.

Fans also can play for an opportunity to win one of 13 additional
weekly cash prizes by playing in a new weekly progressive game each
Thursday after a contestant has been eliminated. Utilizing the same
online entry code method for the $1 million game, fans will fill out a
new bracket and choose the contestants who will continue on each week
for the remainder of the elimination rounds. Each week will offer a
cash prize ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.

"Throughout the 'American Idol' season, fans can participate in
the fun and excitement of predicting who stays and who goes home on
'American Idol' with the exclusive Nestle 'Idol Elimination' games,"
said Tricia Bowles, spokesperson for Nestle Confections & Snacks.
"Nestle 'Idol Elimination' gives fans a unique opportunity to make
their Idol predictions and potentially win big cash prizes in the
process."

"Every 'American Idol' fan tries to determine who will make it and
who won't, week in and week out," said Shannon Pruitt, vice president,
Integrated Marketing, Sponsorship & Live Events for FremantleMedia
Enterprises, licensor of "American Idol." "It's an essential part of
the viewing process. 'Idol Elimination' rewards these viewers for
their enthusiasm and powers of prediction."
