Pinoy Makes it to Top 15

Good News guys. Our very own Christopher Schnell got thru to the semi finals via the German version of American Idol, tagged as Deutschland sucht den Superstar, now on its 5th season.

Christopher who is 19 years old, doing community service in the kindergarten, Auditioned on Hamberg. He sang Dance with my Father, dedicated to his very sick Father, who eventually died days after he auditioned. During that time The judges wasnt convinced so they told him to sing another song. He then sang The Greatest Love Of All by Whitney. Fortunately the judges was convinced so He got a RECALL ticket. During the Recall He was paired to Juna Manaj, who by the way was also one of the lucky 15 finalists who will vie for the DSDS crown. During their pair up, they were struggling on the song choice. Actually they first chose You are the Music In Me, soundtrack of High School Musical but They thought that it may be not be a good idea so they chose You Raise Me Up. But during the actuall Audition Juna struggled and forgot the lyrics. Good thing Christopher was supportive. Unfortunately The judges wasnt convinced, luckily the judges were compassionate so they gave both of them another chance, singing again individually. During the last Solo Audition He sang Dont Want A Miss A Thing, and the judges loved it, one of the judges even said that it was his best performance yet. and the rest is history. wooohoo. GOODLUCK CHRISTOPHER!!! Bring home the Bacon!!! By the way I dont understand German so If ever I gave a wrong information let me know and I will edit it.
