MTV Denies Paula Abdul Knockback
Reports circulating that MTV has knocked back the video for Paula Abdul's comeback song, 'Dance Like There's No Tomorrow', are untrue according to the network, who claim that the video hasn't been submitted to them yet.
An unnamed MTV spokesperson reportedly informed the US edition of OK! magazine that, "There are currently no plans to play the video."
msncb.com gossip reporter Courtney Hazlett said a another 'unnamed source' reportedly told her, "The only thing worse for a star like Paula to not have her video on TV is to have it actually rejected by MTV. You can't be rejected if you never formally campaign for it."
MTV has refuted any claims that they've knocked back the 45-year-old 'American Idol' judge saying, "Well, we're flattered. The truth is, the department that makes such decisions here at MTV hasn’t even seen the clip – no one has submitted the video for airplay consideration."
