II Season 5 got the lowest total votes
Here's the total number of votes for season 1 to 4 According to RCTI :
season 1 (2004) - 3 millions
season 2 (2005) - 1 millions
season 3 (2006) - 2.7 millions
season 4 (2007) - 2.4 millions
Although Season 5 had better ratings and Shares it didnt surpass the past seasons total votes. In fact Daniel Hartono comfirmed that this season got the lowest total votes. He refused to reveal the number though. He only said that unless they can get enough budget for the next season, Season 6 is in jeopardy.
If you ask me. Its okay if there wont be Indonesian Idol next year. Maybe A new show would be nice. Like probably A dancing competition or something. Cos We all know that too much is not good.
Anyways Congratulations to Aris. You really deserve the title!!! Congrats too to Gisel. You made a very tight fight. Goodluck to your career!!!
