Green-thinking pupils have the X-Factor
X-Factor finalists Same Difference caused a splash when they visited schoolchildren to spread the message about saving water.
The brother and sister duo, who made it through to the final of the popular ITV show last year, stopped by at Laxton Junior School in Oundle today.
The visit came as reward after the school made the most pledges to save water through a website.
Pupil Oliver Frisby, 10, spotted the competition in the children's newspaper, First News, and soon pupils and friends were visiting www.dripanddrop.co.uk to make their pledge.
They were treated to performances by Sean and Sarah Smith who make up Same Difference, who got children and teachers on their feet and dancing.
The pair performed a High School Musical hit as well as a song from their forthcoming album.
Pupils quizzed Same Diifference on this year's X-Factor and asked who their favourite judge was.
Sean told them: "Simon Cowell - he's also given us a record contract."
Headtecaher Mark Potter said: "All of the children were thrilled to have the opportunity to see Same Difference perform and to meet and talk to them as a reward for their efforts.
"We are very proud of our green credentials and our green team do all they can to ensure that we don't unnecessarily waste energy and resources."
