American Idol 8 - Episode 2 - Kansas City Auditions
Before the HQ Individual Mp3s and Videos here my take on last nights episode
Man Honestly I prefer the pilot episode. Yes there were some funny moments but not as hilarious as the other day. Talent wise there were 1 or 2 great auditions but thats just it. Man I really am hopeful that next week will be better cos I dont know if this season is really that good as what they were bragging.

With the first week behind us, I have to say I have mixed feelings about this season. I like the changes with the new judge, and the fact that they are showing more gold ticket winners. I like to see a few crappy auditions because it is entertaining, but last year it was just a bit much on the awful and not so much on the wonderful at this point in the show. What I don't like is that I haven't really seen anyone so far that stands out to me as "the one". Last season as soon as I saw David Cook audition I knew that he was the one I wanted to win it all. Sure I liked others, but nobody stood a chance with me once I saw DC's audition. I haven't felt that yet this year (maybe next week?!?!) Though I have yet to see the one stand out amazing talent there have been some that have peaked my interest....from episode 1 I would say that the ones that stand the best chance of making Top 12 would be Emily Wynne Hughes and Scott MacIntyre. I think that there were others that I kinda liked, but I have to review the ep again. From episode 2 Jessica Furney and Danny Gokey were decent. Again with this ep there were others that I enjoyed, but I really need to review the episodes again.
