American Idol 8 - Episode 23 - Top 10 - Motown Week

Heres my take on last nights show

Matt Giraud - Let's Get It On - This is probably his strongest performance since the semis. Good thing the vibrato isnt too much. And yes I agree with Simon. It really was a perfect song choice for him. Great way to start the show 8/10

Kris Allen - How Sweet It Is - Man I totally love the intro. But as the song progress it wasnt as great as I expected. I think last week was better. I really thought the guitar will ruin his performance again. Good thing he didnt mess up this time. 7/10

Scott MacIntyre - You Can’t Hurray Love - Wait he sang this song last week ryt? cos the tune/melody is almost the same. o well. Seriously I really hope he leaves tomorrow. sorry. 6/10

Megan Joy Corkrey - For Once IN My Life - Man she's having a hard time reaching the high notes. I think it would be better if she lowered the key. Anyways I really like her but unfortunately I will agree with the judges it really was really a trainwreck. Man I just wish people will vote for her cos its not yet her time. 5/10

Anoop Desai - Ohh Baby Baby - O man perfect song choice. This is even better than last week. I can see that he's stepping a notch up every week. Just keep on anoopdesaing us. WOOHOO!!! I agree with Simon though that there were some moments that it was a bit boring. Other than that Great job!! 8.5/10

Michael Sarver - Ain’t Too Proud to Beg - Hmm I dont know if its just me but his style and voice bore me. Its always that same tone and facial expression. It like watching reruns. If you know what I mean. 6/10

Lil Rounds - Heatwave - Oh man not another heatwave again. o well. Anyways as usual she delivered it. Too much shouting IMO though but still good. Next! hehehe 7.5/10

Adam Lambert - Tracks of my Tears - OH MY GOD is that ADAM? lolz I didnt know that he's a goodlooking bloke hehee. Anyways As much as I love Adam I didnt like it. I was trying to connect but Im not connecting. Im just probably expecting too much from him. But You know what. What I love about his performance is its fresh, he always gives us a different performance each week. And most important he inspires people. 7/10

Danny Gokey - Get Ready - Last week was really bad. This week it was just okay. Same old Danny. Just one piece of advice, More great vocals, less shouting. okay? 7/10

Allison Iraheta - Papa Was A Rollingstone - As much as I love Allison the song is just not my cup of tea. Vocally good but It was just okay for me. 7/10

    I am looking forward to double A showdown for the finals - Adam vs Allison. I used to hate Adam's theatrics; but after watching him do Bad, Ring of Fire and Tracks of My Tears, I'm beginning to like the man. For me, there are only 3 talents in this AI season - Allison, Adam and Matt. I like Megan, but I don't think she can win.

    thats odd cos I did nothing to those videos I just uploaded them. and I actually played the videos and its working fine. I think you just need an avi audio codec. something like that. Is this the only video you're having problems?

    Yes. This is the only video I'm having problem with. Whenever I tried to open the file, I've received "The file is corrupted" message or "The AVI code is broken". Anyways, I tried again.

    ahhh the avi code is broken.

    I think the reason why it keeps on saying that is either you downloaded the incomplete video or the video i uploaded is really incomplete. I'll recheck it again

    just want to let you know
    I also downloaded the video 2 times and I have the same problem with IdolFan
    I think the problem is that the file was incomplete
    I tried to play it using several software and one of them finally can play the file but not until the end of the show
    anyway, thanks for your kindness to always upload the full episode, deeply appreciated

    i cant dl the vids for some reason. it always download this mediafire index instead of the video.

    is there anything wrong with the linking up of the individual videos?

    hello the individual videos are uploaded on mediafire. its not a direct link so you dont need to right-click the save target as the links. you need to left click it and you'll be brought to the mediafire download link.

    its different from the full episode video link.
