And judging by the line-up, fans are in for some phenomenal performances. In the show that will reunite the Idols Top 10, viewers can expect some foot-stomping collaborations between these former contestants, as well as three performances each from their Top 2. As if this weren’t enough of a treat, there will also be a special guest appearance from last season’s winner – Jody Williams, as well as a very unique former Theatre Phase contestant.
Jason and Sasha Lee are already vying for votes, as voting lines opened on Monday night (27 April) and will remain open until the live broadcast of the show on Sunday, 3 May. Which of the following songs will secure one of them the coveted title of South Africa’s next Idol?

Of course, the night would not be complete without honouring the recipient of this season’s ‘Wooden Mic’ award. Every year, the show honours the best of the worst – that season’s worst audition from the original audition phase around the country, as voted for by viewers. Fans have been voting on the M-Net website for their favourite ear-splitting performance and the winner will be announced on the show.
M-Net viewers will also be able to tune into a live Carte Blanche interview with the winner from the venue directly after the show at 19:00.
