Dannii Minogue nearly quit X Factor

Dannii Minogue has told how she almost quit The X Factor after Louis Walsh made her cry last year.

The Aussie star - who wept on the live show after a row with her fellow judge over a Take That song they both wanted their act to sing - told The Sun how the fierce competition really got to her.

Dannii said: "I made it very clear that if it was going to be anything like that again, then I didn't want to go there - I'm not made of steel."

She added: "It got heated on and off set. There are only so many times I can be pushed around."

Dannii and Louis clashed on the last series when Louis accused her of stealing a Take That song for her act Rachel Hylton when he wanted it for boyband JLS.

The 37-year-old former Home And Away star and singer cried as she introduced Rachel on the live show that week.

She said: "I had to defend my character. I'm sure the audience were eating it up but it's different when you are actually in that seat.

"It was absolutely horrible. I would never want to go through that again or see anyone else go through it."
