Heres my take on last nights top 12 performance show

Ashleigh Toole - Miss Independence - I dont like the song choice AT ALL. But I guess it was just okay. I dont know if its just me but I think pop rock is not her thang. sorry 6.5/10

Scott Newnham - Come Together - Hmmm not bad. Not bad at all. At least he's having a good time. Thats what matters. But the song choice is not my cup of tea. 6.5/10

Casey Barnes - On My Mind - Hmm. I think this is better than his last performance. BUT Im still not jumping up and down on that performance. 6.5/10

Hayley Warner - Lights Surrounding You - Great start but as the song progresses especially the high notes. It looks like she's having a hard time hitting them. But vocally I must say she's better than the first 3 performers. 7/10

James Johnston - How To Save A Life - Great song choice. These are the kind of songs he must do cos he's really good in these kind of genre. Vocally it wasnt that spot on but still good. 7/10

Sabrina Batshon - Earth Song - Hmm very powerful voice. Agree with JD though with the right song choice she can really be great. BUT you know what, attitude wise. Im not liking what Im seeing. But vocally she freakin amazing. 7.5/10

Nathan Brake - Stop And Stare - Perfect song choice perfect vocals. everything was spot on. even the high notes are breathe of fresh air. Great job!! 8/10

Stan Walker - Umbrella - Vocally he's REALLY good. But you know what I didnt like the arrangement at all. The first part IMO wasnt that good. But the last part was brilliantly executed. Very weird song choice Honestly, other than that great job 8/10

Toby Moulton - Creep - Very weird song choice BUT I must say. That made me think that WOW I didnt know that he can sing that great. WOW. Everything was spot on. 8/10

Kim Cooper - Best Of You - I think this is better than her last performance. But Im not a big fan of her voice. 7/10

Tim Johnston - Halo - Im really glad the judges gave him another chance cos he really deserves it. RNB style? Love it!! I agree with JD though that his last performance was better. He needs to choose a better song that will showcase his amazing vocals. But still great performance 7.5/10

Kate Cook - Stuck In The Middle Of You - Not bad at all. This I think is better than her last performance. Now I understand why she got in. I guess people really like her. 7/10
