Indian Idol 5 2010 Introduces New Judges From Strong Musical Background

Indian Idol 5, India’s most wanted Singing Talent Hunt show now includes two new judges. The judges are Annu Malek, Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant.

Sunidhi Chauhan is well known for her strong, bold and beautiful voice. Salim Merchant is one among the composing duo Salim-Sulaiman. Both Salim and Sulaiman are brothers and the duo has directed the music of some famous Hindi musical hits like Chak De India, Fashion and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

In the last session of Indian Idol mostly the judges were from Bollywood like Farah Khan and Sonali Bendre along with Annu Malek. However, this time the producers have concentrated more on judges from a strong singing background.

This is one of the most watched musical talent show which is loved by the Indian audience. This show selects a single voice named as the ‘Indian Idol’ among lakhs of aspirant singers. This show aims at finding the perfect playback suitable voice.

The Indian Idol Season 5 will be hosted by the previous series winners like Abhijeet Sawant and Prajakta Shukre.
