Australian Idol touchdowns are oh so special

AUSTRALIAN Idol judge Mark Holden has gone goony-goo-goo over claims Channel 10 has ordered him to award more "touchdowns" in a bid to bolster ratings.

Despite admitting he'd been stingy with his trademark praise by giving only two this season, he maintained that it was spontaneous and he would not be told when to wind up his touchdown arm.
