Church may sue on Idol claims

HILLSONG church is not ruling out legal action against Channel 7 after Today Tonight last week claimed the religion was stacking votes in favour of its members in the Australian Idol finals.

The church labelled Today Tonight's three "exclusive" stories as "nonsense in every respect", adding there was not a single Hillsong member in the Idol finals, as claimed by the show.

honestly they should really stop this nonsense. Im quite sure they just want to boost Australian Idol's ratings. now that there are reports that their ratings went down. If you ask me I wouldnt mind those people and just go on with the program. By the way the top 7 will be performing tomorrow night. the theme is 'The year you were born' and based on what I heard these are the songs our Idols would be singing
