X Factor hopeful in breach of court order

1 October 2007 - X Factor wannabe Sisi Jghalef was told to leave the show after it emerged that she was in breach of a court order.

The 22-year-old had neglected to complete her community service sentence after she was convicted of common assault on a McDonald's employee, News of the World reports.

After auditioning solo and not making the cut, Sisi and some other rejected singers formed a girl group and progressed to the semi-finals.

However, producers were uneasy about the risk of her being arrested again if she appeared on live X Factor shows and decided to give her the boot.

Sisi, meanwhile, told the publication that the reality show's boot camp was full of drugs and lascivious behaviour.

"Put 200 young people in a stately home for a week and you can guess what happens," she said.

The young hopeful told of smoking cannabis while other contestants partied and bed-hopped.

She added that "there was a lot more … going on and there are video tapes to prove it. I saw it all".

Recently, Louis Walsh apologised for overreacting after he found out he was in charge of managing the over-25s.
