X FACTOR LEON GETS £25K FOR THREE SONGS

X FACTOR winner Leon Jackson is charging £25,000 to sing just THREE songs at clubs.

He only won the telly talent show last month, but is apparently already demanding superstar wages.

Former shop worker Leon, 19, scored a Christmas No1 with his first single, When You Believe. But he had to call off some festive gigs in Scotland because of tonsillitis – although fellow Scottish singer Amy McDonald, 20, accused him of having “lazy-itis”.

Now club owner Carlo Citti has claimed Leon’s agents have “greedy-itis” after being asked to shell out £25,000 for the lad to perform just three songs at his venue.

Carlo, owner of Campus in Glasgow, said: “Leon’s agents have greedy-itis. I couldn’t believe it when they asked me to fork out £25,000 for him to play my club on December 27 or Hogmanay.

It was not just his festive price, either.

“They told me the fee would be the same for other days over the coming months.

“I think it’s ridiculous when I can get David Hasselhoff for £15,000, Peter Andre and Jordan for £7,000, rapper Coolio for £3,000 and the MacDonald Brothers for £2,500. Only Girls Aloud charge £25,000 – and there’s five of them.

“How can you justify that sum for three songs? It’s a real shame because Leon auditioned for the show in Glasgow. It would have been a great homecoming.”

Leon’s agents, Create Music, were not available for comment last night.
