Audition for American Idol, Friday in Toledo
FOX Toledo and 92.5 KISSFM are looking for the best singer in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan to send to a guaranteed American Idol audition.
Singers who think they are the next Carrie Underwood, David Cook or Kelly Clarkson should prove it and audition 5 p.m., Friday, July 25 at the Maumee Indoor Theatre.
The first 92 qualified entrants will audition for the judges and the chance to be named the FOX Toledo Idol.
The top five singers based on the judge’s scores from the July 25 auditions will audition again at the 92.5 KISSFM studios Thursday, July 31.
The very best singer will be named the FOX Toledo Idol and will be packing their bags for a trip to East Rutherford, N.J. to try out for the American Idol producers August 19.
The eighth season of American Idol begins in January on FOX Toledo.
