Lisa Origliasso and Dean Geyer Split
The Veronicas` Lisa Origliasso has broken off her engagement with Australian Idol and Neighbours TV actor Dean Geyer.
The couple became engaged in April after meeting at the ARIA Awards in 2006.
In statement from the couple explained the break-up as "Our careers demand we be in different parts of the world now and in the future, and the pressures associated with this have forced us to make this very difficult decision."
Geyer released one album to little interest as an Australian Idol. Late last year he was cast as Ty Harper in Neighbours.
Lisa was previously romantically attached to US pop star Ryan Cabrera.
The Veronicas now live in Los Angeles. They have released two albums through Warner, `The Secret Life Of …” in 2005 and `Hook Me Up` in 2007.
