American Idol Recap, Tuesday, March 4: The Boys Wanna Be Starting Something
Sigh.
Can we not go a single season without some form of rotten contestant scandal oozing up out of the sewers of their personal histories?
Frenchie Davis was an internet "model", modeling more flesh than lingerie. She got the moral boot.
Scott Savol threw a telephone at his girlfriend. Not exactly a shining example of chivalry, but one Nigel and Company could live with. He stayed, but his image never recovered. (Not that his image was all that palatable to begin with.)
Corey Clark made it to the big stage only to be tripped up by his arrest record for assault on his step sister and four police officers coming to light.
Thing 1 and Thing 2 Brittenum were found to have dabbled in identity theft and fraud. Exit, stage right, please.
Antonella Barba was not the brightest bulb in the contestant constellation, but her star power certainly dimmed when photos of her frolicking in a war memorial fountain, half dressed on a bed of rose petals, and using the toilet hit the internet.
