Win dinner for two at Lone Star Texas Grill and tickets to Low Level Flight
It does not seem that long ago that Kingston’s own Ryan Malcolm became the first Canadian Idol.
Now a couple of albums later and on tour with his group Low Level Flight, Malcolm returns to his roots for a one-night concert at the Ale House at 9 p.m., on Wednesday, March 9. One lucky winner will win two tickets to the show.
To make this night even more special, the Lone Star Texas Grill is throwing in dinner for two (value of $75) before the concert. Because of the venue the winner must be of legal drinking age (19) to win.
After his platinum-selling debut, “Home”, ran its course, singer-guitarist Malcolm began piloting his own career, writing his own songs, and guiding his own band.
The band comprised of Malcolm (vocals, acoustic guitar), Shaun Noronha (bass), James Rooke (rhythm guitar, keyboards), Dave Carter (lead guitar) and Brandon Merenick (drums), debuted their first album “Urgency” on Malcolm’s own label, I Heart Records, late in 2007.
Two singles from the album “Change for Me” and “Say” are currently climbing the charts and are sure to make the band one of this country’s favourites.
