Easter Lunch with ‘American Idol’ Finalist
CERRITOS -- Customers at the Goldilocks in Cerritos had a surprise special treat when they saw American Idol top ten finalist Ramiele Malubay, a Filipino-American, enjoying Easter brunch with her family.
Fox gave Malubay and other American Idol contestants a rare day-off to celebrate Easter as they prepare for next week’s performance and subsequent elimination from the hit-show.
The Asian Journal could not interview Malubay or her immediate family members due to Malubay’s American Idol contract which prevents her from speaking to members of the media during the competition.
The scene inside was chaotic. A large number of customers crowded the doorway waiting in line, holding up their small digital cameras or camera phones waiting for their turn to take a picture with the short Pinay with black hair and blonde streaks.
After enjoying their motorcycle ride, Arnie Torres and his son Austin of Anaheim Hills stepped inside Goldilocks for lunch. They were surprised by the clamor.
