American Idol's Brooke White Releases Debut CD
American Idol's Brooke White has released her debut album Songs from the Attic. While Brooke White is unable to sign an official record deal until the American Idol tour finishes, she has chosen to release her album independently. Songs from the Attic is available at brookewhite.com. You can also hear samples of songs from the album. Brooke White's album contains 11 songs, including covers of Aerosmith's Dream On and Coldplays' Yellow. I really enjoyed the clips from her album. The songs had a nice fusion of folk, pop, and a nice rhythmic upbeat quality. Even on the cover songs, Brooke White's unique voice and style came through.
Born in 1983, Brooke White is a native of Arizona. She has been a beauty school student as well as a nanny. Brooke White is a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She finished fifth on this year's American Idol.
