Which previous finalist do you find most inspiring and why?
Casey Donovan, because she went through as a child it was inspiring.
Describe your feelings at your first audition.
Being at the first auditions were very nervy, it was one of the most surreal things in my life.
Obviously, it’s important to have a strong voice, but what other aspects give a performer ‘star quality’? Please explain your answer.
You have to be able to give part of yourself to the audience every single time you go on the stage and tell a story and get lost in yourself.
What would you call your debut single?
“Dreaming”, because I’ve been waiting so long to perform in front of millions of people and now my dreams are coming true.
Why do you think Australian Idol is an important part of our local music industry?
Because it shows the talent of Australian’s from the beginning of their journey to the end. With them growing in the meantime.
Which artist (dead or alive) would you most like to perform a duet with and why?
Christina Aguilera because she has an amazing voice and she is so comfortable within herself.
What’s the best thing about being on Australian Idol?
I get to do what I love doing and show Australia that I love it, and that’s the best feeling.
Who is your favourite judge and why?
Dicko, because he speaks his mind but at the same time he tells you how to change the bad things and give good constructive criticism.

I’m the type of person that loves what I do. I feel that if there’s no heart and soul in what you do, there’s no reason to do it.

Definitely to believe in myself because if there’s no belief then you won’t succeed
