“Give it to me” by Madonna. I change favourite songs all the time but I love an electro song by Melbourne DJ Hook and Sling “He Doesn’t Love You” featuring Sarah McLeod from the Superjesus.

Which previous finalist do you find most inspiring and why?
I loved Bobby Flynn. He was so quirky and original and truly captivated me.

Describe your feelings at your first audition.
My first audition was really strange because I was in London and didn’t really believe I was there. I was excited and so nervous about future prospects and the possibility of going home.

Obviously, it’s important to have a strong voice, but what other aspects give a performer ‘star quality’? Please explain your answer.
Star quality is a product of an overall package which includes vocals, personality, great attitude, looks, style and individuality and above all to permeate a passion of music.

What would you call your debut single?
I would name it after the most meaningful or catchy line of the song I released.

Why do you think Australian Idol is an important part of our local music industry?
Australian Idol helps young or struggling artists to break into the public eye and industry and with great assistance can help you to be a successful performing artist in such a tough industry.

Which artist (dead or alive) would you most like to perform a duet with and why?
I would love to perform with Madonna because she has some wicked tracks, is a legend and had a pash with Britney and Christina when they did duets with her!!!

What’s the best thing about being on Australian Idol?
All the great people I have met and worked with and that I get to sing all the time dress up and perform and have fun with it!! The staff and everyone here to help you is fantastic!!!

Who is your favourite judge and why?
Dicko is my favourite judge because he brought me back from London and has had so much faith in me as a performer and can see me rising and growing into much more!

That I am enjoying every moment of my life! I am a go getter who never misses out on any opportunity and takes life by the guts and runs with it.

What’s the best piece of advice someone has given you?
The best piece of advice someone has given me is learn to love yourself. In life you only have one best friend and that’s yourself and you have to wake up everyday and face your life.
