Comic side of X Factor Leon

X FACTOR finalist Leon Jackson's teachers have revealed he was more of a comedian than a singer while he was at school.

The 18-year-old, who lives with his mum in Livingston, was described as a "hilarious" Peter Kay impersonator by staff at Whitburn Academy.

The former pupil also dressed up in drag to help raise funds for the common room.

Teacher Anne Stokes, 52, said: "He was a joker - that's why I was amazed to see him turn up as a singer."
